Mr. J.J. Boylan is entering his twenty-first year as an educator in the School Town of Highland. He spent the first thirteen years teaching in the first and sixth grade classrooms and for the past five years has been the principal of Warren Elementary School.
Mr. Boylan received his Bachelors of Arts from Purdue University Calumet in 1994. He then received his Masters of Science in Educational Administration in 2006. Most recently Mr. Boylan completed his course work in High Ability Education at Ball St. University. He was certificated in the area in 2012.
Mr. Boylan is a passionate educator who is very active in high ability education in the State of Indiana and is the elementary resource person in the School Town of Highland.
His other area of passion is using technology as a learning tool in our classrooms. Warren Elementary School is transforming the learning culture in the School Town of Highland by leading the way in making Highland a 1:1 school district.
Mr. Boylan is active in the community as a softball coach and as a member of some regional theater groups.
